ABOUT SARAH
“Art and crafting have always been a passion of mine. I have worked in many mediums over the years and when I found the art of dolls it seemed perfect for me.”
I could learn to sculpt, paint, design and sew, craft, make wigs, and more! After taking many art classes in high school I kept creating even when my children were small and my life was busy. My studio - Rush Creek Studio - is named after the stream meandering through our country home land that gave our children so much to explore and imagine!
It has been a long and interesting journey, and it doesn’t cease to amaze me as I continue to grow and learn! I am always trying to find new ways to improve my skills, and most days it seems my potential is still well beyond me.
I am my own worst critic, but I know my dolls bring so much happiness to their collectors! I sometimes wish I was the collector instead of the artist.
