Welcome to my new website!
Welcome to sarahniemela.com! This new site is long overdue. My daughter Katie designed the original one many years ago. I thought she did a very good job...she has a four-year degree in Graphic Arts. But she is a busy mother now and can only use her talents part-time.
So finally after much procrastination I hired Katelyn Hillukka to design a new site. I am very pleased with what she did and hope to be able to mange it myself. We will see how that goes!
I wanted a site where I can interact more with all of you. This is a showcase of what I have done in the past few years. You can always do a search for my name to see many of my earlier dolls.
I don’t know what direction my future will take; my creative side gets out of control sometimes and I go off in all kinds of directions. Every year in the fall I get inspired to do Christmas and I love it! I think I will do Christmas all year long. But then it fades away and I lose interest. So you never know what I will be doing next.
I love doing custom work. It allows me to get out of my comfort zone and it opens up new possibilities for me!
